Windows 10 Automatic Upgrades
Microsoft has launched an aggressive campaign to get users to upgrade to Windows 10, but it seems to have recently gotten just a bit more aggressive. Lately, there have been more and more reports that PCs with Windows 7 and 8.1 are automatically launching into a Windows 10 upgrade without any prompting at all.
If this has happened to you and you are adamantly against upgrading to Windows 10 at this time, all is certainly not lost. Come to Computer ‘A’ Services, and we can restore your old program on your computer. We can also turn off any subsequent automatic upgrades for Windows 10 if you prefer that as well.
However, if your computer has already upgraded to Windows 10, you may want to actually consider sticking with it. It’s free right now, but it won’t remain that way, and eventually you will have to make the upgrade anyway.
Windows 10 also has many worthwhile benefits that you might enjoy, such as better security. In fact, many big organizations have already decided to make the switch, including the U.S. Department of Defense and its 4 million PCs and tablets.
The team of professional computer technicians at Computer ‘A’ Services is always here to help you with your computer requirements and, of course, any questions you may have. Stop in our convenient New Smyrna Beach location at 817 N. Dixie Freeway or call us at 386-409-0320.
