Options which help users get the most out of their computer experience have become pretty amazing and especially helpful for those with special needs. 

So how does one access accessibility options? You can customize vision, hearing and other interaction options by going to Start and choosing Settings and then Accessibility. There you will find a host of accessibility options and feature customizations, including:

The ability to manage visual effects such as whether or not a background is displayed, animation is used or how long a notification will pop up.

There are magnification capabilities which offer a close-up view.

Text cursor settings may be altered by size, color and thickness of the text cursor.

Computer users may alter colors and contrast, as well as choose an option for braille display for easier viewing as well.

There are even accessibility options available which can provide closed captioning and a narrator which changes text to speech. Computer users can also choose pitch volume and speed of narration.

For those who may have difficulty with finger dexterity or simply prefer not to use a mouse, the numeric keyboard can also be used to move the mouse pointer. Additionally, there are some terrific keyboard shortcuts which enable users to perform tasks without the use of a mouse.
